Two unforgettable days with Shaina and Yosouf in Sacramento, California — and what a ride it was.

From the start, these two brought the energy. Day one was stacked with heartfelt moments at their rehearsal, followed by a welcome party filled with laughter, dancing, and warm reunions with family and friends who flew in from all over the world. We also snuck away for an adventure session that took us from running through the streets to an unexpected run-in with sea lions (yes, seriously).

Then came the wedding day at the stunning Grand Island Mansion — a venue straight out of Italy, with tall cypress trees, trimmed hedges, and birdsong in the background. The ceremony blended tradition and emotion, including beautiful Afghan cultural dances and rituals that made everything feel that much more meaningful. And once the party kicked off… it really kicked off.

This film was such a joy to put together. Shaina and Yosouf, thank you for letting me be a part of it all.
