Alex Raymond, wedding filmmaker

Hi, I'm Alex Raymond · Wedding videographerLess posing. More real moments.

So, here's the deal: wedding videography isn't just a job to me. It's something I genuinely love. Also, I will drop it low on your dance floor. Consider yourself warned.

I'm a 27-year-old filmmaker from York, PA. I'm married to an incredible speech therapist, Emma, and together we're raising our mini Aussie doodle, Jarvis (yes, named after Iron Man), who is truly the best boy.

What I love most about weddings is catching the moments that only happen once. The kind you don't realize are that meaningful until you're watching them back years later. The laughs, the nerves, the in-between stuff. Those are the things your kids, and their kids, will get to see someday.

Take one

How it started

About eight years ago, my sister asked me to film her wedding. It was the first wedding I ever shot, and I was hooked. These days she runs her own photography business (Emma Bixler Photography, go look), she still jumps in on shoots with me, and I've been chasing belly laughs and happy tears at weddings all over the country ever since.

I don't care how long the day is, what the timeline looks like, or what we end up doing. I'm there for it. My goal is simple: capture your day exactly as it felt, and turn it into something you can come back to for the rest of your life.

What I'm all about

The ground rules

  1. Real over perfect

I'd rather catch your grandma crying through the vows than stage a perfect slow-motion walk. The real stuff is what you'll want in twenty years.

  2. Have some fun

I'll crack jokes, hype up your groomsmen and get right in the middle of the dance floor, shaking it with your aunts if that's what it takes. Relaxed people make the best footage.

  3. Nothing held back

No "scaled-down" versions. Every couple gets the same cameras, the same care and the same full-day effort.

  4. Everyone's welcome

Big or small, local or across an ocean, same-sex or not. If you love each other, I want to tell your story.

Been on both sides of the camera

I proposed to Emma in the pouring Colorado rain, and we got married in the Smoky Mountains in June 2025. So yes, I know exactly how much goes into planning a wedding. That month before the wedding was a doozy.

Here's ours, all half hour of it. You didn't really think I'd leave anything on the cutting room floor, did you?
